Temple university website content
During a temporary web content writer assignment (December 2016 to November 2017), I and another writer were tasked with updating degree program descriptions for the individual Colleges of Engineering, Education, and Public Health. This was part of the university's effort to update their website and build a customized search engine. I focused on undergraduate programs and rewrote previously existing web copy to make it more search-engine friendly as well as engaging to high school juniors and seniors who would be exploring their college options.
fundraising letter for
school supplies
This is a letter I wrote for the Independent Film Association of Philadelphia (the nonprofit presenter of the Philadelphia Independent Film Awards) to solicit donations for the purchase of school supplies for Philadelphia-area elementary, high school and college students. It was published on the website as well as distributed via email.
Rosemarie's gourmet cheesecakes & bakery
This is the web copy originally created for and approved by this client. The site has since been updated.
Duncan carriages
This is the copy I created on spec for Duncan Carriages. The client gave no direction on the tone or which photos to use. To meet the spec assignment, I chose the photos for each page, then crafted the copy to complement the images.
eli wyn upholstery and quinlan's furniture

atlantic engineering
This copy was written for a marine engineering firm that specialized in safety inspections of marine structures including bridges and piers. The client provided much of the technical copy. The challenge here was to choose the best photos for each page as well as prioritize the data in the information provided. The goal was to present the client's message without overwhelming the site visitor with too much information. The entire site can be viewed here: http://atlanticengineeringnj.com
